Who we are

Little Bloom Shed ("we", "us", "our") is a small florist business run by Fi, based at Owmby Rd, Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, LN8 2DD. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. This mainly happens through the enquiry form on our Get in Touch page, where we ask for:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• What you're enquiring about (e.g. custom bouquet, wedding florals)
• Your event or desired date, if applicable
• Your message to us

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on this site, so we don't build up a profile of visitors as they browse.

Cookies

This site doesn't set any cookies of its own. The one exception is our Reviews page, where a live carousel of Google reviews is loaded using the Google Maps Platform — and Google's own script can set its own cookies once it loads.

Because of that, this script only loads if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you choose "Necessary only", the carousel stays switched off and the rest of the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for littlebloomshed.co.uk, which will bring the banner back.

How we use your information

We use the details you submit only to:

• Reply to your enquiry and discuss your order or booking
• Provide quotes, arrange delivery, or fulfil an order you've asked us for
• Keep a record of the conversation in case we need to refer back to it

We never sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing emails or texts unless you separately ask us to keep you updated.

How your enquiry is handled

Our enquiry form is processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, using their built-in form-handling service (Netlify Forms). When you submit the form, your details are sent securely to Netlify's servers and then on to our own email inbox. The form also includes a hidden spam trap ("honeypot") field that helps filter out automated bot submissions before they reach us — this doesn't collect anything about you as a genuine visitor.

Other services on this site

Our Reviews page uses the Google Maps Platform to display live Google reviews, as described above, and our footer and Gallery page link out to our Instagram profile. We don't control how these third parties handle your data — please check their own privacy policies if you'd like more detail.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and order correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to deliver your order, resolve any follow-up questions, and meet our basic bookkeeping obligations, after which it's deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to or restrict how we use it
• Ask for a copy of your information in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, just email Littlebloomshed@icloud.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are aimed at adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top.
